Growing up in Kentucky, the tobacco state, it seems like plant medicines have always had a seat at the table.

It's time to stop doubting, overthinking, and believing your prime is in the rearview mirror. The only thing in the rear view mirror is worrying about being carded at the grocery store. That was just a hassle anyway, let's be real.

Are you one of those multi-passionate, wildly creative types who has so many ideas you can’t even contain them, let alone pick one to focus on? (Cue image of ideas spilling out of your brain like confetti.)

Let me tell you why it's OK to create crappy art when you've got kids waiting at soccer practice for you to pick them up and emails piling up in your already full inbox. (mine is currently at 12,947)

The cast, the costumes, the script, the choreography. All of it. And most importantly, what kind of cast party you'll throw.

I always used to second guess my ideas. My dreams! My everything.

Once upon a time I was convinced that whatever dreams I used to have were positively out of reach now that I was OVER 50!

I went from being completely overwhelmed with life, kids, 763,000 school emails and a general feeling of “whoa is me” to holy shit I actually CAN write my music, perform it on stage, take my kids to lunch and soccer, get a mani-pedi, drink Ayahuasca in the jungle, meditate twice a day, AND bring home the bacon. And eat it too!
