It’s Monday morning, your alarm goes off and you hit snooze. Again. And then again!

 

You pull the covers up over your head and wish to God it was still Sunday. 

 

On Sundays you can relax. I mean, if driving out of town for that 2nd club soccer game can be called “relaxing.”

 

Either way, on Sundays, you let yourself forget for a hot minute about the 47 projects you’ve been thinking about all week. About that closet you want to declutter, that personal essay you started and then dropped, those thank you cards you’ve been meaning to send for your 50th that kind of came and went. You didn’t even throw yourself a party because - well - it was just all too much. And still is.

 

Suddenly driving 78 miles to a soccer pitch in the middle of Timbuktu and then paying $25 to park sounds way better than the never ending mental spin cycle of self deprecating thoughts that IS Monday.

 

Ugggg. Mondays are relentless.

 

We’re gonna stop all this right now.

 

From now on, Mondays are gonna be your bitch. I don’t even like that expression but it felt like the exact one to use to make this point!
